Ahhh! the pressures we put on ourselves....I can so relate, AC, having been on both ends and every size in between. Love your mix of humor and pathos, with a pinch of spirituality thrown in for good measure. Learning the hard way, we gotta love ourselves at any age, stage, weight or whatever, especially if we want things to change! ps, what love handles? I dont see 'em! but oh can we be the hardest on ourselves. I get it.
