Have We got a Word for You? ‘We Who Shout or Whisper Depending’ Sure Did
Here’s what happened when I followed Nancy’s thoughtful suggestions
I thought I knew what my word of the year was.
Actually, I was pretty close.
Then I came upon Nancy Blackman’s post, Choose a Word for the Year and Let Your Next Year Become Focused Yet Liberated, and knew I had to do her process.
Because I have a bad case of FOMO–Fear of Missing Out. There was something for me here, and I wanted it. Whatever it was.
So I took what I thought was my word(s) of the year–brilliant resilient boldness, and parked it to the side. Actually, I raised my hands in a gesture of release, completely willing to let them all go. Even though I was pretty clear that some form of boldness, courage, or chutzpah’s exactly what I need for the coming year.
I closed my eyes and surrendered to Spirit. Let whatever needs to come, come. Spirit, and/or my spirit guide who say Their name is We Who Shout or Whisper Depending, has a bigger vantage point than I do. My job is to be open to whatever comes. I was ready.
I sat with that, feeling energy tingling all through my body, excited for whatever would be revealed.
