I promise, the tighter you narrow your niche, the more freely those ideas will flow between your brain and your readers’ brains. Okay, Shaunta, even though it seems counterintuitive, you speak from experience. We’re working on this in the Book Marketing Class with Racheal, so, your timing is perfect. Thank you, i gotta let it steep.
this just in: I took a shower and as often happens, i had an aha — that the big takeaway for me is the drill-down part. so in my broad category of addiction, what flashed into my head is this: I make practical wisdom from living the 12 steps of recovery accessible to “the rest of us.”
Eureka! that is what I do. that is my angle on it…and I love doing it in a variety of ways and settings — with humor if possible. Then i suddenly got three ideas for articles based on that! so, see, it works! the narrowing works. and the gaping hugeness of an undrilled topic is just too much to wrap one’s blogging life around, so yes!
This is huge! Thank you, Shaunta!!!! Love you!
