During a mid-life crisis, I took to the salsa clubs of ‘Frisco. This led to the kind of mischief qualifying me for twelve-step recovery. I replaced the club scene with alcohol-free ballroom dance studios. At my peak, I performed the Lindy Hop with a professional dancer.
