It’s earthquake season in Northern California.
A few nights ago a large jolt shook the bed where I sat up reading. The jolt turned into a role, quivering the lamp shade for at least a minute. As quakes got this was a medium one at 4.7 on the Richter scale, its epicenter in Pleasant Hill about 15 miles away.
