these things seem mundane and inappropriate until you don’t have them. then they’re worth their weight in gold. In my book, if you’re cooking you get to call the shots about what’s appropriate. we tend to take the so called everyday things for granted. what with climate change looming over us all, we can’t afford to do that. it’s a new day and our collective biological clock is ticking.

i just had one question. it was unclear in your article. was there toilet paper in the porta potties you almost knocked over in the wheelchair? if not was that why you were careening madly towards them? It would serve them right! It’s bad enough to have to use a portie to begin with, but if you get in there and there’s no TP, grrrrr! and you can’t reach under the next stall like you can in regular public toilets. see how important these little details are. Especially to women. and if men can’t appreciate why that is, they better hope they have all their teeth!!!!

Thanks, Bebe for some great holiday warm up laughs!!!!
